OUR STORY
The home of homemade.
For five years we've baked our own artisan pies, rolled our own Dutch kroketten and pulled proper coffee from a single, carefully blended medium roast. Everything is made fresh in our Sedgefield kitchen — to eat in our sunny courtyard, take away hot, or pop in the freezer for an easy supper at home. Sit down or to go. Either way, it's the home of homemade.

Pies packed with the real thing
We use A-grade topside and free-range chicken, dressed and cooked properly, so our pies are full of tender meat and flavour — not sauce. Regulars and road-trippers alike tell us they're some of the best on the Garden Route.
A true Dutch speciality
Our Dutch kroketten are the real deal — braised, shredded, hand-rolled and crumbed for that crisp-outside, soft-inside bite, and served with mustard. Alongside them you'll find Dutch speculaas, butter biscuits and our famous almond tart.

One proper coffee
We've stuck with the same carefully blended medium roast since the beginning, because consistency is the whole point. Sit-down or to-go, it's the cup that's worth pulling off the N2 for.
Baked fresh, or frozen for later
Everything is made for real life. Eat in our sunny courtyard, take it away hot, or take a box of pies home for the freezer and an easy supper any night of the week.

Right here in Sedgefield
You'll find us just off the N2 between Knysna and Wilderness, next to the Engen at Scarab Market — in the heart of one of the Garden Route's most laid-back little towns. Pull in, grab a coffee, and browse the Saturday craft stalls while your order's in the oven.
